I purchased a Leica M3 from a good friend and needed to shoot a test roll to get a feel for how it shot. I live close to Hill Aerospace Museum and always look for opportunities to visit. I was impressed with how the images turned out but ended up selling the M3. It was a hard decision to make but ended up buying a M2 that allows me to use all my M lenses.
I set out to shoot a test roll through a new to me Leica M3. This image turned out to be one of my favorites from the roll. One reason I love shooting film is the happy surprises that come when developing the roll and looking through images for the first time.
The water falling outside the window caught my attention, I just had to wait for someone to stand in front of the glass. I like this because the water blocks out the distractions from outside which then isolates the silhouette making him the main focus.
This was another favorite image from watching a group of men arm wrestling this past weekend. The man on the left would take each match by dropping to his knees and over powering his opponent winning the match in seconds.
I enjoyed watching these men arm wrestle and try all sorts of techniques to get the upper hand. The man on the right was quite a bit shorter and tried to get all the leverage he could by using the table. After they went back and forth several times he ended up winning the match
